Eric Woods was forged from Mississippi mud in the sleepy little town of Pascagoula. Since then he has lived all across the Magnolia State,  from Brookhaven to Columbus, currently making his home in the small town of Petal. His music attempts to distill the ease and angst of living in such a place for 30+ years, taking cues from artists such as Jason Isbell, Jackson Browne, and Tyler Childers for sonic and lyrical inspiration.  Currently, Eric is focused on playing live shows across the Gulf Coast, writing new material, and creating with The Way Down.
